標題: Blurmax's Running diary


Just completed an inter-departmental 7 Km race in 33 mins+ earlier today.

The cooler temperature today is perfect for running.

Despite I did not try my best, I still found my pace pretty fast.

A nice race again (I doubt whether the distance is 7 Km enough though)

Having my 33 mins recovery lite run (about 6.5 Km) at Sir Cecil's Ride in the sightly warm afternoon earlier.

Saw many runners practising their running at the trails today. Some of them even ran with backpacks (SSHH runnrs?).

Unfortunately I began to have my running nose after running for about 15 mins, and I had to cut short the run due to the uncomfortable caused.

Nice run anyway.

Having a 22 mins+ (about 4 Km+) at Sir Cecil's Ride at 1100 hrs+ today.
Still felt tire after the Mt Butler 15 Km last week, and failed to take over another gal runner.
I was left breatheless afterwards and concluded the run after being jamed by a large group of hikers.
Probably will not have good time at the Tolo 10 K tmw.

Still felt pretty tire after the 8 Km running race on last Sunday.

I had a 48 mins+ lite recovery run (about 9 Km) at Quarry Bay Park jogging path and water front tonite.

The hot temp + high humidity was really difficult to conquer.

Another nice run anyway.

標題: SDH 4 Km Beach Run 08


Just completed the SDH 4 Km Beach Run in the sunny afternoon at Repluse Bay in 19 mins+.  Running on the sand is really difficult despite it's just several hundered metres at the beginning.

I still enjoyed the run pretty much.  It would be much better if the MC did not say so much nuisance word before and after the race.

Another nice run anyway!

Running on sand is very difficult to me (not U lah).
U're right that there were many pretty ladies in 2 pieces, but I didn't bring my camera.

I usually start from seaview end at Quarry Bay Park and return from SKW basketball field.

I felt happy to see so many hkrunners.com's members such as Snail, LAM Wah, Connie and others. I was very happy to see my ex-coach CHUNG YH before and after the race.

Just having completed an evening run at Quarry Bay Park jogging path and waterfront tonite.  The run lasted for 50 mins+ and I probably completed about 9 Km in distance.

The weather was fine with breeze from time to time.

Another nice running exercise.

Not really.  Just do not keep my running log here frequently.  I keep my weekly mileage at 20 Km to 30 Km still.

Having a 43 mins+ lite recovery run at Sir Cecil's Ride at noon today.  The frequent breeze and cooler temp made the run much easy.  However the silly government is still trying to pathing the trail with cement.  I'm afraid that the whole trail will be cover with cement one day!

Having a 40 mins (about 7.5 Km) lite recovery run at Quarry Bay waterfront under the typhoon no. 1.  The wind was strong.  However it's either onhead nor windless which made the run a little bit difficult.

The silly government is continuing their cementing work at the path.  Really wish to stop them from "killing" the trail!

Having a 52 mins+ lite recovery run (about 10 Km) at Quarry Bay Park jogging path & waterfront underneath the amazingly beautiful full moon tonight.  The cooler temperature and frequent breeze also added credit to the run.

I noticed that many runners wore SCM's tees to run tonight.  I tried my AVOHK 5 Km running singlet (L size) which was a little bit too big to me.  To the contrary the 1/4 marathon's tee (XXL size) became children's size after washing.

Another good run!

Having a 36 mins+ run at Quarry Bay Park jogging path in the warm evening tonite.  I discovered the distance mark was changed from 600 metres to 640 metres.  That meant I ran 10 laps for 6.4 Km in 36 mins+ tonite.

Quite a run anyway.

I resumed my recovery run for 5.12 Km in 32 mins at the Quarry Bay Park jogging path tonite.  Still having sigtly pain on my back and I didn't dare to run too fast.

Crazy treadmill Ching, I've totally 5 blogs.

Having a lite recovery run of 6.6 Km at Quarry Bay Park jogging path in 40 mins tonite.  The temp was still not cool enough for me to wear long sleeves running tee.  Therefore I was a little bit hot but not much sweat.

Nice to have my run with a fast running colleague.

Grass, nice to meet U online again.  I missed the Coke Run because of my back pain.  I completed the Gold Coast 15 K in 83 mins.  I will run the Nike 10 K and Unicef half marathon in Nov 08.  Five more races to go in Dec 08.

I will run the half marathon in SCM 09.

I attended the CSD 10 Km Invitation race in the chilly morning at the Plover Cove Reservoir at Tai Mei Tuk today.
Despite the cold weatherand without running exercises after the Mizuno Half Marathon, I still managed to complete the race in a moderate fast time of 48 mins+.
Nice to meet many colleagues and friends in the race.
My bib no was so nice - 555!
Enjoyed the race.

Happy to learn that U hd joined the race, but I didn't see U during the race (coz i also joined the race).  After the race, I learned that I hd got the tenth of Sr. Grade.)  Unfortunately, I hadn't any photos of myself for U coz I had left earlier ( My result is : 44:22  2nd best of this year)

Sure ! I didn't wear long-run tee but a blue Unicef tee with long sleeve tee inside.
But, it is very cold and strong wind along the dam.
How did U dress ?
