第一次參加渣馬,有d關於補給既問題想請教下各位~

你地通常食蕉定朱古力架? 邊樣較好呢?? 如食蕉,你地係咪只係食幾啖,唔會成條食哂,因為食哂怕唔怕飽得濟??

Me too.

I eat 3 packs of GU gel for a FM race and I think the taste of GU is better than Powergel.

朱古力溶左真係好似... , 上年試過今年唔再食了. powergel雖然唔好味不過外觀點都好過溶左既朱古力.

嘩,要食三包咁多架,我意為呢d能量補充既野一包就夠tim...

Actually I don't think a gel can provide enough energy for a 45 minute-run.
For example, a GU gel gives you 100kcal and running for around 10-15 minutes (depends on speed and body weigth) can already burn all 100kcal.

It is impossible to compensate ALL the energy expenditure during FM race.  However, energy gel can compensate at least some of the energy (and electrolyte) expenditure and provide caffeine to maintain your performance.  Also it is easy to be digested and absorbed by our body.  

Besides, I conside the gel as a small small gift to reward myself for running such a long distance.  This makes me less painful mentally especially during the last 10k of the race.
