Thanks All Ching/CTze. I'm lucky because my result is not outstanding at all.
I'm interested on this race when I realize it in the last year post. This year was heard very shortly from some Chings. It is intended to be a relax MLR for fun without any preparation.
As said, relax for fun but my mind change at start. Why not to test myself to maintain first 16K @ 4:30/K, my lower end LT pace, and then finishing the last 5K with easy pace. Harder but funny.
Few K after start, I saw Rockiec Ching over 100m in the front. His pace was faster than mine, I need to adjust to catch him up around 11K. By keeping on this pace for 5 more K to the start point, it was already better than my target set.
Thanks for the supporters cheering at the start point. They gave me extra power, change mind again, accelerates to the higher end of tempo pace until "explose". Luckily, this pace can be maintained and I was still able to gear up for the last K. This changes my position from 11th to 6th unintentionally.
I was surprised when a position tag was given at the finish line since the organizer did not say having prizes in the registration details. I enjoyed this race and excited to have this extra gift.
I heard that there might have next station, look forward to join if the schedule is fit. |
