Btw, the lead pro finished his 2.2 miles swim leg in less than 46 minutes.

Andy Pots of USA won his first Ironman with a time of 8:24:40

Congrats to Andy, he won a spot to Kona!

Things started to get heated up with only 3 hours to go.  It is getting dark in the State of Idaho.  So inspirational watching all these ironmen passing the finish line and announcer Mike Reilly saying " ...... YOU ARE AN IRONMAN !!!"

Ahh...less than 20 minutes left.  Sad to see those that are not making the 17 hours cut off.....All the hard training down the drain
