The AVOHK - adidas Reservoir Series 2010-2011 will kick off on Oct 17 at Aberdeen Reservoir (12km) on Hong Kong Island, followed by Tai Lam Chung on December 5 (15km) and Tai Tam (11km) on Feb 27. All races start at 9:00am. Entries limited to 400 runners per race. Medals for the first three finishers of individual races in each category. adidas vouchers and trophies for series winners in all categories. adidas T-shirts for all who finish two or more races. Entry fee (for non-AVOHK members) is HK$125 for one race and HK$320 for all 3 races. Return transport available for Tai Lam Chung race for HK$40. Just completed the AVOHK Reservoir Cup Race II at Tai Lam Chung Reservoir's relatively hilly but scenic 15 K course in a moderately fast time of 1:25:22 hrs.
Despite the completion time was still slow, it's already my personal best in this course.
Nice to meet some runners friends especially having a good chat with Dennis of LongRun.hk.
Completed the AVOHK Reservoir Cup Race III (11 Km)'s hilly route at Tai Tam Reservoir in a moderate time of 1:11:10 hr in the slightly warm morning today.
Despite the tiredness and sore legs never left me during the race, I still managed to shed 2 mins from the completion time of last year. Enjoyed^.^
Nice to meet Dennis & Saki and other runners friends in the race^.^
