Yes Stanley hing, they set up a display booth at the Boston Marathon expo the past two years to attract North American runners.

Haven't really looked yet but I am planning to stay in Shinjuku (by the subway/train station).

I finally have a chance to check out the hotels.  Well, those in Shinjuku are super super expensive and the rooms are very very tiny (unless spending lots of $$$$$).  I found a 4 stars one in the Akasaka district called Grand Prince Hotel Akasaka,  Not bad, only a few miles from the start line (take the subway to the start line).  I use expedia.com to look for package deals.

東京馬拉松通常都會有好多人報，下屆想玩的話要趁早
(雖然會方 抽簽 會 偏袒foreigner，即來自國外的跑手會較大機會抽中)
