Hi louis~
How are you? Welcome to our board. I couldn't believe someone from LA signed up here. I saw that you are running AFC 1/2, it is going to be hot and humid in SD. And you are running ...
I am actually going back to HK this coming wed for about a week because my grandfather passed away I figure it's good to try to run in HK just to get a sense of what it feels like. And hopefully take my mind away for a little bit. I know hiking in HK suck because it was too humid for me.
My teammate told me AFC should be ok because when we did La Jolla it was hotter than AFC or Disney. I got sucker into the triple crown thing so I ran carlsbad half and La Jolla half (For people in HK... USA marathon organizations are smart. In my case they made 3 half marathons as a series. If you do all 3 within a calendar year, you get an extra medal! Kind of like playing video game you know). I am still thinking of Pasadena because the course kind of suck. I see that you are from Nevada... you are hardcore for traveling from NV to LA.
I signed up for Disney. You have so much experience you are probably very fast. My half time is around 2:15-:2:20. I don't know how fast I can run for marathon because my knee was injured in LA so I did 6:30, when I did San Diego I was running with a friend so I was slower... 6:04. I know I can do 5 something... maybe I'll give that a try in Nike.
Mt Baldy is in LA. It's 10,064 ft (3232 meters) high. I started from 6,000ft and go up to 10,064ft
It's nice to exchange running ideas from different counties.
Thanks for all the speedy comments |
