Alex hing, thanks for posting this.  I know a lot of new runners don't take this serioulsy and just buy the shoes they love or recommended by others instead of trying the right pairs themselves.

    How can I check by myself whether I am normal,  over- or underpronation?  Any objective measurement available?

    你本身是高弓足或扁平足? 同睇你對鞋底損耗最快的部份, 就大概知道。
    Objective measurement...... 聽講尖沙咀海港城New  Balxxxx有部treadmill可作這種測試, 但唔知乜條件先同你做測試

    多數 normal arch = no pronation, high arch = under pronation, low arch (flat feet) = over pronation.

    You want to go to a running shoe store and let those people check.  But you need to find a store that you trust.  Ask C-Hing about stores.

    I don't look at brand and design(look) and price.  I buy the one that is comfortable.  If they tell me I need to wear this pink shoe, I will buy it!!!
