Protein, protein and protein! You need protein. After LSD, I usually mix myself a protein shake (drink). You need to refuel those muscle just like a weight trainner. It is normal that you don't have any appetite to eat anything after LSD or marathon, I am the same. Protein shake is definitely a good choice. Usually after a marathon, I go home and sleep for a couple of hours, then at night I make myself of big T bone steak and some tofu soup .
I am in Los Angeles now running a 1/2 marathon tomorrow, not much of a LSD anyway. But tomorrow night I am going to have big juicy T bone steak in a restaurant.
Sometimes I feel like having hot flashes or chills too after a long run and a marathon. But it usually disappears after a couple of hours. It is normal too.
BTW, when I say LSD, I mean distance over 15 miles (over 25km).
