If nothing else this will make things interesting. I just can't see him having the same form that he had in the past. Astana seems like a stacked team with Alberto and Levi, but too many GQ men might not be a good thing.

So, he is targeting for the 2009 TDF. He should be join the Dicovery team, right?

No more Discovery Team for him.  For the 2009 TDF, he is joining Team Astana.  Check out how he did at the Leadville Trail 100 back in August!

NO WAY!!!!!!
Of course I want to see him in the Tour again as a big fan of him, but.....in realistic he would be better off running leisure marathon!
just like the great michael jordan, coming bk from the (2nd) retirement didn't make him a hero again yet like a loser!
and more, the Tour is a strategical team sport but he's already talked like "he" aims to come back and win it...
for such a super self-centered, retired aging cyclist going back to the so called "most ruthless" game in the world and try to win it?  ....no, I just don't like this idea at all............no matter how much I miss him in the Tour.
