I am frustrated by 沙田體育會 in the way they handled the collection of race materials.
I went to 沙田體育會 early this morning at 9:00 a.m. to collect the number bib, champion chip and the souvenir. I was amongst the first five people coming to collect the materials. I thought that the distribution should be straight-forward and should take less than 5 minutes (apart from qeueing time). However, it seems that the collection counter was poorly organised and I was kept waiting for almost 20 minutes as they could not find my number bib. I am not the only victim, and there were on the spot at least other two runners whose number bibs are missing. At the end of the day, they told me to collect the number bib and the chip on the race day.
I wonder why they cannot arrange for the collection of the number bib and other materials on the race day. I can't see the reason why 沙田體育會 cannot do it while HKMP and AVOHK can do it in their races, given that the number of runners in these races is more or less the same as that of the Pacer Easter Race. It is a total waste of time for us to travel all the way to theirShatin office and only to discover that the number bib is missing because of their poor organisation. |
