I'm in too. To those that are planning to go, please book your hotel stay as soon as possible before they jack up the price twofold especially in the Shinjuku area. Good luck everybody. It is going to be a cold one, hopefully no snow.
Hi ~ 上野 isn't as convenient as 新宿. Most subway lines take approximate 20 minutes to travel between the two places and you have to transfer from one subway to another. The one and only one line that doesn't require tranfer is the JR Yamanote Line (山手線) but it takes a good 25 minutes. On the other hand, the hotels are cheaper in Ueno than Shinjuku but it all depends on how much do you want to spend for a night. Hope this helps.
