Beat the Boat is a unique fun run and walk that challenges you to
race a boat along the glorious Yarra River trail. This event is part of
Moomba Waterfest and is suitable for runners and walkers of all
fitness levels.

Race along the Yarra River trail and see if you can beat the boat
back to the finish. As well as raising money for the National Stroke
Foundation, you could win great prizes. All races start and finish
in Alexandra Gardens. You can choose a 3km walk, a 3km run or
a 10km run. The river trail is suitable for prams and wheelchairs.
Challenge the whole family to Beat the Boat!

Congrats on your sub 50 10K race and thanks for the report and pics.  I think my last sub 50 10K was 15 years ago.
