對不起，小弟孤陋寡聞，要查維基才知道Garmin Forerunner 205 為何物。
由於我對運動裝備所知甚少，也不知道在香港邊度有得賣，所以答唔到你問題~

Why not save the $$ and get the new 405 later.  It will be in stores at the end of March.  I have the 305 (same as the 205 but with HR monitor) now and plan to upgrade to a 405.  I tried it on at the Los Angeles marathon expo a couple of weeks ago and it is really nice.

It is $100US more than the 305 ar.  It is more expensive but it has an improved satellite reception, very suitable for running between tall buildings in Hong Kong.

隻錶的外型好似正常番D，我見佢有支USB，係唔係即係話隻錶D Data用呢支USB Wireless Connect，如果是的話，又是什麼原理，是不是藍芽？

The USB Ant stick acts like a bluetooth to transfer data from the watch to the computer wirelessly.  You can also exchange data between runners too.  It is indeed 好鬼正呀!!

I don't know when it will be onsale in HK but Garmin told me it will be onsale here in USA at the end of March.

係ebay買真係會平D，但係你要考慮埋如何保養。

我諗我都係買住205先，因為405唔知要等幾耐，同埋以我買電子野的經驗(e.g. Mobile, PDA, notebook, etc)，新貨有機會有Bug的，我唔想做白老鼠。

You said you plan to upgrade from 305 to 405.  Does it mean the same heart rate monitor can be used in a 405 as well?  For those 305 users like me, is it OK just buying the watch itself?

Good question!  Not sure about that though.  It is about $50 US cheaper without the HRM.

我最後都係買左205，係灣仔PROTrek買，HK$1749。仲因為呢隻錶，免費做左佢地一年會員，會員買正價貨品有八五折，我都覺得不錯了。

有呀，得閒上黎睇下丫http://awyh4216.motionbased.com，因為佢最多只可以記錄10個Record，所以只會在Web記綠低我的比賽，其餘的練習或者平時貪得意玩下隻錶的時候，都係Save係Hard disk算了。

You can also try download AllSportGPS, it stores over 20 records there and is much simplier than MB.  

Also, after each use, it is safe to rinse the 205 under the tap water to get rid of the sweats.  I have been doing it since day one.  Just make sure you wipe it dry with a cloth after rinsing.
