After the 2009 LAM, the new owner didn't waste his time and proposed the new LAM course, got approved by the LA city council and the Santa Monica city council a couple of months ago. The new course has been finalized. If everything runs smoothly from now on, this new LAM course is going to turn into a classic for sure. Mark your calendar, it will be on March 21st, 2010. And I will be there........

I've also discussed this with many folks in HK. This past year, many folks online blasted their complaints at the organizer and the organizer is responding with all the positive changes (HKSCM should have listened up)
The new LA Marathon is probably going to be a very nice race. The weather in Mar should be nice. The course is a bit downhill, I think. And the start time is a little earlier as well.
Wo, this is LA, so who are the celebraties running in the LAM?
Rumor has it Oprah is a sub4 ! she ran NY and Chicago I believe.
Not sure if she is sub-4 or not. Even if not, she probably isn't too much over it. But I would be more interested in seeing other hot actresses. If some hot gals do run it, I will wait for them at the finish line

You need to sign up for the up coming inaugural Malibu Marathon. I am sure u will see quite a few celebrities doing it. It is being held in their backyards.

Steep hills after 20 miles, this is probably worse than the Boston Heartbreak hills! But if we can kills the hot celebrities like we can kiss the young Wellesley girls in Boston, it may be worth it
