BUT if I have the $$, I would rather buy the Kinsei 3 than the Newton. " />" />hjhvbj" />
lvrunner ching, we need to encourage fellow HK runners to buy more American-made products to reduce our trade and budget deficit here. Otherwise, our current government won't hesitate to raise our taxes.
Everyone, please buy New Balance, Brooks, and Newton.
Actually, I stand on your side. I read this article before (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/ ... es-waste-money.html) and try running on bare feet. It really works, I mean it is very natural to run on my fore feet, no more heel striking.
Of course, to buy or not to buy, that's the runner own preference, but many people are brainwashed by commericals already. No hope!
That's true. Some people here in US are calling the whole running shoe industry one of the biggest business frauds. I wouldn't go that far but personally, I don't like to spend on things that I don't get good ROIs.
But if people would like to spend money to buy them, I definitely would encourage them to buy US brands. Forget the Japanese. It will help the economy here.
People use this for Ironman, i.e. Full Marathon

Newton is a good tutor to teach you run by forefoot.
It perfectly match my running style with improvement on knee injuries.
However, it take some time for you to get used to it.
Highly suggest not to run with Newton everytime at the beginning, ie, one work out with Newton, one work out with your old shoe...
Rather demanding on your craft power.
Welcome to share your experience after you've tried.
