2010 Boston 已經滿額！

對於計劃在費城或加州國際馬拉松拿到參加2010波士頓全馬比賽資格的跑手來説，今天真是黑色星期五！

主辦單位 Boston Athletic Association (BAA) 在今天宣報比賽已經滿額！

波士頓是每年4月舉行，由於要跑手拿到達標的參賽時間，在2008年之前，一般都會在二月中（比賽前兩個月左右）才滿。2009年的波士頓提早了3-4星期，在一月中就滿了。明（2010）年的波士頓則更誇張，今天-11月13日-五個多月前-就滿了。

在網上還有很多跑友準備在未來幾個星期的比賽達標，他們一定會很失望！唯一的安慰，就是，拿到的達標時間可以參加2011年的波士頓。

Amazing!  It closed in February for 2009, and that was early! Now, it's Nov of the prior year. For anyone hoping to qualify for Boston 2010... I feel for you.

Actually, it was closed in mid Jan for the 2009 Boston - almost a month before the normal time.  I was very lucky that it wasn't as early as this year when I qualified in Dec 08 for the 2009 one.

I have several online running friends going for BQ in the next several weeks and without any question, they are very disappointed now.

Probably.  I am going to run 2010 Boston but am not planning to run it in 2011.  If anyone does qualify for 2011, you may want to register earlier next time.

I am thinking about London in 2011.  Anyone interested?

Certainly it is every runners' dream being participating in Boston Marathon.
