壞消息: Paula Radcliffe!

Paula Radcliffe係乜誰? 佢就係來自英國果位女子馬拉松世界記錄保持者(2003倫敦馬拉松 - 2:15).英國BBC報道話佢極有可能參加唔倒北京奧運.她於四月訓練期間整傷了大腿骨(femur), 照完MRI後confirmed咗係stress fracture. 佢可不可以在十四個星期內康復呢? 我諗美國嘅Deena Kastor同埋日本嘅Mizuki Noguchi而家喺度偷笑緊!

佢就算出得番黎都會好似上屆咁樣﹙全馬去到30km drop out；10,000m一樣﹚

Paula is a tough girl, I wouldn't count her out just yet though!

佢話生仔就生仔, 大肚亦照跑可也. 生完唔駛一年便複出, 身材仲好似未生個感樣.

洋妞真係好開放, 鍾意做咩就做咩, 唔會收收埋埋, 我行我素, 尼D人先最開心, 唔會理會其他人點睇, 不過唔係個個中國人都接受到, but I like her so much, 真係幾有自己既個性.

講開Paula，佢實在都係人版，佢俾好多人最深o既印象係佢o既跑姿﹙正確黎講係佢o既上身、頭﹚其實好多年前已經跑緊﹙睇左幾年world cross country﹚，但係一路都出唔到成績﹙佢一定o向first pack但係跑跑下就唔多覺眼﹚，係三四年前開始道路賽d成績好突出，仲破埋world best time…英國人o既英雄！

講番今屆奧運，如果佢唔係stress fracture都仲有機會，之前醫生話如果只係bone stress未有fracture都仲有機，但係有fracture就實在無得傾…要全休，最多操體能…

TOO BAD!!!

Last time i heard she made a new record AFTER giving birth not long ago... I was like "Wow... this woman rules..."

Even if she insists running, she can't do much weight bearing training (running included). And that put a big question mark on her performance in race (even if she can participate)

Paula Radcliffe will have a fitness check-up tomorrow as she battles to compete in the Olympic marathon next month. Despite suffering a stress fracture of the femur, Radcliffe is determined to attend her fourth successive Olympic Games and has been undertaking high-intensity training at her French Pyrenees base in Font Romeu - seven weeks after being told by specialists it would be "impossible" to compete in China. The 34-year-old world record holder is hopeful the progress report will be positive but her agent, Sian Masterson, said it could still be a couple of weeks before Radcliffe knows for sure whether she will be able to run in the marathon on August 17. PA"
