mine is already android 4.4.2, i can use MIO GO app to view the heart rate. But i can't check the heart rate by using RunKeeper app, will it the same as RunKeeper on iphone..?

It seems runkeeper not yet support Android at this moment, but I guess it is not difficult for them to add in since miolink is ready for Bluetooth 4.0 and can paired with other android apps.

I ever asked Runkeeper support last month, and she said the APP doesn't support BLE (i.e. BT4.0) in Android yet, but they can offer the same in iOS only, so she advised me to buy "Polar Wearlink + Bluetooth" for Android.They are working on it.

have u tried other running apps in andord, such as runstic, endomono.....
Endomondo seems ok for both IOS and android according the compatible list
