比賽當天頒左比Freddy Sittuk (肯雅出生)。Gary o'hanlon 話唔知對方都係黎爭全國冠軍 (national marathon championships)後來賽會知道 Freddy Sittuk 賽前冇耐返左鄉下，不符合「六個月內連續居住」的資格，決定改返賽果，Gary o'hanlon至係 national marathon champion。
