1. Disposable Raincoat | Prepare a disposable raincoat (one size smaller than usual). Cut it to about hip length and keep in a small waist bag in case it rains too heavily and gets too windy. |
2. Cap | Wear a waterproof cap to keep warm and dry. It gives you better vision when it rains heavily, especially for those are bespectacled. |
3. Arm sleeves | Wear arm sleeves to keep warm. They can be pulled down if you get too warm. They also be used to wipe away sweat / rain from the face. |
4. Compression Tights / Socks | Runners can consider wearing compression tights and / or compression socks for better muscle protection / performance as well as for keeping warm. |
5. Energy Gels | Bring energy gels (or any accustomed food) if your finish time will be over 1.5-2 hours. |
