波士頓馬拉松男子組賽事，肯尼亞跑手查魯特成功衛冕。

這項被喻為世界四大馬拉松之一的大賽，今年踏入第112屆，吸引了超過25,000人參加，包括前環法單車賽總冠軍岩士唐在內。肯尼亞的查魯特跑了一段後已經帶出，最後他以2小時7分46秒首名衝過終點，雖然未能打破自己在2年前所創造的場地紀錄，但成為首位肯尼亞跑手四奪這項賽事的錦標。

女子組的競爭就較激烈，埃塞俄比亞的東妮與俄羅斯的比迪米露娃一直鬥得難分高下，東妮憑著在衝線的一段發力，以2小時25分22秒衝線，僅以2秒之微勝出，成為女子組的冠軍。

I still believe ING New York City Marathon is the world's largest with either over or close to 40,000 runners, then followed by Chicago, London, Berlin, Honolulu and Los Angeles (not in orders). The 2009 Tokyo Marathon is planning to have 32,000 runners so it should become one of the top 4 in the world.

There are 5 Major Marathons in the world form a "World Marathon Majors" Series, which is something similar to the "Greatest Race on Earth" in Standard Chartered Marathon. The 5 marathons of World Marathon Majors are:

1. Boston Marathon
2. Flora London Marathon
3. ING New York City Marathon
4. Real Berlin Marathon
5. Bank of Amercia Chicago Marathon

其實參加這些比賽有無成績要求，一生人有機會跑番一場半場都算係咁了。

Boston係marathon嘅大亞哥, 是衆跑手嘅最高目標. 這時他們嘅成績要求表!

我諗我要到75歲才會qualify!

Chicago, New York and London係street party. 乜誰都可以報名玩. New York係最大型. 所以Lance Armstrong諗住年年都玩New York.

Chicago舊年一獲泡, 因太熱關係又唔夠水, 大會中途cancelled賽事. 但很多跑手不知情而引至一人死亡和302人中暑入院. 希望今年大會攪好D啦!
