just read your blog..

our background is similar (in some senses).   keep it up..  and i admire your determination to run 1'45" in a running track as I often find it so boring. I find running outside a track (on the road) is more interesting...

i really find running tracks is quite boring but it is also a way of training the mental health. Working long hours is boring as well but bcos we are paid, we have to do that..  hehe..

Running on a track is better to legs... I would try doing this regularly.. may be road -road-track-road pattern, if i could keep up my running habit...

I used to play soccer, thus my  legs/knees should be quite strong. However, I put up weight, now overweight by about 10 pounds and also got some long time old injuries, thus knee would always feel a bit painful.. therefore, I slow myself down at running downhill..  (running uphill, no need to slow down as already slow..haha).

I will try the loop running (bicycle track ) , 1.9km, this weekend. Getting 5+ would equal to 10k...  That's the distance I want to practice more to get ready for my 1st 10k on Dec 19...

you need to know your pace before the run.  don't race with others who are faster than your pace.  hope you can have a good result.


yap, in Shatin.Many Chings participate but 1/2 marathon. I may be the only one who opt for 10k...

i know my pace..  i am tracking with the GPS watch..  The problem recently is that the traffic lights (red light) have affected the accuracy of pace...
