Just had a glance through the list. Minimum 36min47sec for male participants.

It has a restriction of 1,000 quota in the event, in the Time-trail swimmers has to finish the 1500 m within 45 minutes.Some comparison of the data between the final entry list that published on M ...

其實當日已經担心記錄唔到，所以在感應板不同部份(banner, 浮泡)都拍過，以策萬全
希望大會下屆指示清楚啲

I agree that open water race is a completely different experience.  I lost my sense of speed and direction, in particular because the race course was not a strict line.  I swam much harder at the time trial as it was the qualifying test, and enjoyed the rare opportunity to swim across the Victoria Harbour on the race day
