正如我點都唔明點解Asics Kayano點可以賣成1,400﹙佢對我黎講只係一對慢跑鞋,但係o向歐美大把人覺得佢好正,貴一貴都肯買一樣﹚
Miller兄,
I have been wearing Asics shoes for over 20 years now, at least 100 plus pairs. My feet are little overpronated and need to wear stability shoes. Asics is the most comfortable of all. I had the Kayano 11, 12, 13 and now 14. I only bought them when they were onsale. None of them cost me over $100US each. You are right, it is one of the MOST popular running shoes in North America. I am also wearing a pair of the new Asics Gel 3000 (birthday gift), two pairs of 2120 and 1 pair of 2130 (Christmas gift). I usually go through 3 pairs of runners each year. I buy the old model of the GT 21X0 in December when the new model comes out. Usually it is 40 to 50% off. The only one I think is not worth to buy is the Gel Kinsei ($150US).
Edit: Oh, also want to let you know that my friend ran all his sub 3:30 marathons with the Kayanos. As a matter of fact, he wore it at last Novmeber's New York City marathon and qualified for Boston in his age group and he is wearing it next Monday in Boston again. So I disagree with you that Kayano is a "slow" shoe. You are right, to you it is. Please also take into consideration that the body frame differerences between Asian runners and North American runners. An XL shirt in HK might become only a medium in North America. That was the case for me when I was in Honolulu trying out an Asian-fit XXL Nike tech shirt, it was so tight and I wear size M or L here.
