Just be careful and not to make it worse. It is always a good idea to rest up a little. Is the area warm when you touch it? any redness? I would say you pulled the muscle of the area when you jumped the fence. Good to hear that it doesn't bother you when you run, only when sitting down at a 90 degree angle. Try massage it deeply with your hands. If you have "The Stick" I mentioned in another post, I would use that to roll on the area. If it hurts, you can also put a pain patch on it. Do they sell Salonpas patch in Australia? Or any other kinds of pain patch will work. Another good pain reliever is Biofreeze. It only comes in spray or gel forms though. Hope the info. helps.
