Ur information should be correct.  I will go there by bus 76 from Causeway Bay, and get off at the bus stop next to the petroleum station.  There will be a few minutes walk up to the gathering place at the car park.

100 % correct - there is a staircase leading to the gathering place next to the petroleum station.

Hi Blurmax & Gills Chings,
Is route of Mt Butler same as AVOHK Tai Tam Reservoir Cup? After review with ur post of Tai Tam Reservoir Cup, I'm scared about the long uphill slope and the muddy & rocky path

Don't worry.  The two race are not on the same route, and 90% of the Mt Butler 15 K Race is on concrete ground, and the trail is much easier to handle (complare with Boa Pass of the Reservoir Cup).

However the long upward slope to the Quarry Gap will be longer than the Reservoir Cup's route.

Add oil anyway!

Just completed the 15 Km hilly race course in the warmer morning in a slow time of 1 hr 28 mins+.

I really felt powerless today and had to walk twice in the course.

I finally manage to cross the finishing line with exhausted body.

Another nice race held by HKDRC again.

It's nice to meet some SSHH members and hkrunners.com's members.
