I have more than 10 pairs of Asics shoes with both Japan and China versions. To be honest, it is not easy to find out the differences or maybe there is no difference. However, I have a better feeling and confidence when I put on the Japan version and probably it makes a difference there.
The reason why it is called Asics and Tiger because the brand itself was called Tiger when I was small (more than 25 years ago). Then it had been rebranded to Asics Tiger quite sometime ago and now at Asics. Honestly, I am not really why but I guess it was because of the rebranding issue. That's why people call it at Tiger, Asics or even Asics Tiger. |
