愛上左跑街,今日都係跑返屋企。同前次比,有些少進步,雖然都係好慢。

好耐冇update添:
其實踏入2011年,多左跑街同山,少左跑運動場。
到目前為止,入左一次東壩、去左一次海下、同埋跑左一次西貢市入大灘。媽咪話我昨日是舊曆生日,所以今日提早完成自己的生日願望,就係慳番D搭巴士返屋企錢。雖然唔係長,得15公里,不過要上下山落下山,同跑運動場真係有分別,希望慢慢改善可以跑快D。

yap, in Shatin.Many Chings participate but 1/2 marathon. I may be the only one who opt for 10k...

i know my pace..  i am tracking with the GPS watch..  The problem recently is that the traffic lights (red light) have affected the accuracy of pace...

just 3 more weeks, add oil.  is it the winwin run in Shatin?

you need to know your pace before the run.  don't race with others who are faster than your pace.  hope you can have a good result.

I used to play soccer, thus my  legs/knees should be quite strong. However, I put up weight, now overweight by about 10 pounds and also got some long time old injuries, thus knee would always feel a bit painful.. therefore, I slow myself down at running downhill..  (running uphill, no need to slow down as already slow..haha).

I will try the loop running (bicycle track ) , 1.9km, this weekend. Getting 5+ would equal to 10k...  That's the distance I want to practice more to get ready for my 1st 10k on Dec 19...

Running  ...

if you are used to running, your muscle will be strong enough to give you good absorption of pressure from your strides.  so running on road won't hurt most of the experienced runners.  Normally I would run with my dogs in the country trail once a week.  The uneven terrian calls for more control of the legs and requires a stronger pair of legs too. This would be a good alternative for me to run in the track.

Yes, track running would train me for a stronger mind as it is so easy to give up in the track for that monotone style.  Hope to learn you have find the interest in running on all kinds of terrians soon.

i really find running tracks is quite boring but it is also a way of training the mental health. Working long hours is boring as well but bcos we are paid, we have to do that..  hehe..

Running on a track is better to legs... I would try doing this regularly.. may be road -road-track-road pattern, if i could keep up my running habit...

係呀,夏天好D,D人去晒遊船河,但現在天氣適宜行山操山,所以好旺,不過目前都好少見會抄牌,好多車都放在路邊,又有D人冇計,泊遠D,再坐車入北潭涌。講時講,比賽多左,條路成日會封,都係一個問題。

我跑外圈,所以唔使52圈,一圈已經有460到470米,四十幾個圈就可以收工,我通常都冇數第幾個圈,只係set個表有距離警告,逐個圈數會悶死人。

Yes, it is really boring for running in the track for such a long time.  I always meet people who run very fast but at the same time finish their workout in a short time.  All people like to do their LSD in the road.  I would like to do that too but have to wait till my wife's permission for running on the road.  If she is OK, I can run from Sai Kung Town Centre to my home at Tai Tan where the road distance is more than 15km with some rolling ground and a mountain pass measures about 120m height.  It would be a very good workout.

Concerning the boring track running, I have complete my first 21km run today in the sportsground.  Though it is slow, at least I have done it.  5km 31min, 10km 62km, 15km 94min, 20km 127min, 21km 133min.

our background is similar (in some senses).   keep it up..  and i admire your determination to run 1'45" in a running track as I often find it so boring. I find running outside a track (on the road) is more interesting...

烏拉~~都係難抽時間law,我住培正附近,工作在湾仔,所以Tko 屯門兩邊都遠,放工跑真係難,放假又要陪女兒温書送呢度果度,所以跑了近兩年都係一個人。
