Holycamoly!! Kayano is over $1000 and twice as much than Mizuno. You are right, Kayano is heavier (stability shoe) and I think it is more suitable for North American runners because most of them are bigger and heavier than Asians. I bought a Nike shirt from HK two years ago and it was a XXL and I only wear M or L over here.
