Get some rest if you are having a flu.  Your immune system goes down when sick,  wasting unnecessary energy will make your immune sytem goes down even further.  If you keep on running while sick, it will take you longer time to get better.  So take some flu medicine and rest up for a few days before attempt to run again.  Drink lots of water.  My thoughts.
