Aiya, I just bought my forerunner 405 last Friday ar, unless there is a trade in or someone wants to buys it second hand!!!

On the contrary, 405 is not as bad as other people have posted, I like it as much as my Polar RS200

I locked the bezel when I used it, so far therefore no problem. I think they tried to make it user friendly by eliminating buttons, it is the engineering not the idea that sucks, too sensitive and the touch is not very interactive with the fingers.

On the other hand, the GPS picked up the signal quite fast and it did not loose connection even when I was in Bowen Road under the thick trees or in Central, that was a BIG surprise for me.

The only compliant, like others, are battery power. How could anyone conceive something that can needs to be recharged so often???  water proofing 50m would be nice also!

I don't think I will buy the 310XT, but good to know the price for comparison.

Wow Ivrunner, how do you decide when to use which watch?

I bought at REI before also. They have really good quality clothing. I know they have mail order via internet, but can we return and get a refund if buy through the net?
