因為今年農曆係閏５月，所以明年渣打馬拉松會好遲，天氣幾乎肯定又熱又濕。每４年１閏，渣打條賽道總會屍橫遍野！

半馬和10k都六/7點開跑,點解全馬這麽晚.太陽都出,想熱死人.

絕對是搞手有問題.

全馬應該五點半開跑.半馬可以七點.10k可以八點.

在熱帶地方都是這樣的.夏威夷的全馬也是五點半開跑的

不可行吧

因同一時間會有太多人到達終點, 會做成阻塞兼混亂.........

saki兄,很多人到終點並不是理由.第一,10k的終點可以在另外一個地方.剩下的全馬跟半馬選手最多大概兩万人.兩万人的比賽不算大.波士頓有兩万6千人人報名,跑完的都有兩万三,四千.芝加哥有四万多人跑完.紐約也有三到四万人.連在舊金山的一個12k都有差不多三万人過終點,全都沒有混亂.

因爲搞手不懂安排而弄至跑手極度辛苦,甚至有過熱而出現危險,是不當的.

George ~ Honolulu Marathon start time is 5am.  I have to get up at 2am every year.  Wait in line at the shuttle stop by 3:45am.  Tough!!!!!  I think the RD for the HK marathon should change all the start times.  How could a marathon start after a 10K run.  No brainer !!!

Saki hing ~  Both Honolulu Marathon and Tokyo Marthon have their 10K start with the marathon at the same time.  Both half and full marathons at the Las Vegas Marathon end at the same finish line.  I don't see any confusion at all.

lvrunner, I hear you.  When I watched the cable TV recordings on the HKSCM, I thought I didn't see it right the 1st time.  I re-watched the recordings and confirmed that the Marathon started at 8 while the 10k started at about 6.  That's the most ridiculous race schedule (for a large race) I have ever seen for sure.  The other puzzling schedules I have seen are small community races like the ones organized by the Taiwanese and Mainland immigrants here.  Both have the distance races in the hottest time of the day and the shorter sprints earlier in the day when it is not that hot.  That's really puzzling to me as well.

SCM is so speical that 10k participants were much more than full marathon
only less than 5000 people in full marathon while more that 10000 in 10k

george...don't expect hk organizer with same thinking with runner.

though the event was called 'international'
consider the course, event time, race atmosphere.....was actually not 'international' at all...

organizer always claimed that SCM was getting more people to join (due to overwhelming participants in 10k)
