I still believe ING New York City Marathon is the world's largest with either over or close to 40,000 runners, then followed by Chicago, London, Berlin, Honolulu and Los Angeles (not in orders).  The 2009 Tokyo Marathon is planning to have 32,000 runners so it should become one of the top 4 in the world.

There are 5 Major Marathons in the world form a "World Marathon Majors" Series, which is something similar to the "Greatest Race on Earth" in Standard Chartered Marathon.  The 5 marathons of World Marathon Majors are:

1. Boston Marathon
2. Flora London Marathon
3. ING New York City Marathon
4. Real Berlin Marathon
5. Bank of Amercia Chicago Marathon

我諗我要到75歲才會qualify!

Chicago, New York and London係street party. 乜誰都可以報名玩. New York係最大型. 所以Lance Armstrong諗住年年都玩New York.

Chicago舊年一獲泡, 因太熱關係又唔夠水, 大會中途cancelled賽事. 但很多跑手不知情而引至一人死亡和302人中暑入院. 希望今年大會攪好D啦!
