A mid night start is very popular in oversea trail running events. I expect the 100K race course wiill be more challenging than 2013

If the application fee is much higher than your budget, I suggest you drop the HK100, but the Lantau 100 is worth to join. In my view, the race course of HK100 is a bit boring as half of it is cover the Maclehose Trail.
