Forerunner 405

I used 405 for more than 6 months.  It's perfect for running, repeat 'for running', and no other GPS watch could match.

Of course you can have many alternatives, said using 'hiking GPS', 'GPS logging device' etc.  However, they're not designed for running anyway.

The feeling of wearing 405 is similar to wearing a Casio running watch, virtually no difference.

Please bear in mind that these watches are not intented to use for water sport or during raining. I remember that a ching said his 1st watch was dead due to this reason .

I'm the poor guy who lost the FR205.

The construction of FR405 seems better.  It's using SCREWS instead of GLUE to stick the top and bottom parts.

Anyway, I used it under heavy rain many times, but I'll NEVER dip it into water.
