Whether buying it in HK or US, I think it is still too expensive!  I am still holding out waiting for the price to come down a little.

When do you think Garmin will lower 405's retail price?
If it have to wait until its new watch launch, then it may be months or even years later....

I expect the price will go down a little by summer.

Hi Ching,

May I ask how you got the extra discount for the 405 with heart monitor?  My friend is at a REI store in LA, and with the HR monitor it's 350 with 50 rebate.
Without monitor it's 300 wit ...

Hi ~  I am so sorry that I didn't answer your question earlier.  I need to check in more often.  Anyway, I got it when it was on sale at REI.  I am sure it will be on sale again sooner because the new Forerunner is due to come out in August I was told.
