This is absolutely ridiculous, why would a 10K start at 5:15 am and the full marathon starts at 8 am. Don't they (organizer/race director) learn anything from the past with all the heat strokes and runners ending up in hospitals. This type of crazy scheduling will never happen in North America. All I can say is drink up, drink up and drink up the day before. Good luck runners!
I hope the incident at the 2007 Chicago marathon doesn't repeat in HK on Sunday. It gives a lot of stress and headaches to the paramedics, St. Johns and the staff in the emergency rooms at the hospitals.
