Good news - Hong Kong SCM will be held on 2011/2/20 (one week before Tokyo Marathon 2011)

Of course not ! Marathon and 10k runners are mixed together at the start line and during the first 10k.  Have fun !

Hi ~

You will receive a packet in the mail in January or early February.  Inside the packet you will find the race guide and the bib # claim certificate.  You need to bring that certificate and your photo ID to the Tokyo Big Sight (expo) to pick up the bib # and race kit.  Have fun!

會跑既ching ctse 打算住近起點定終點?
住近tokyo big sight的話事前拎bib同事後返酒店沖涼會方便d
但比賽當日就要一早趕過去東京都廳......

Unless you are not planning to do any sightseeing in Tokyo after the marathon, I would recommend to stay closer to the Shinjuku JR Station which is a short walk to the TMG start line.  The Big Sight is in Odaiba which has shopping centres, food places and amusement park too but IMHO it is still pretty far away from all the real actions (food places, night life....etc) in Shinjuku.

Just received the "Final Instruction" with the bib exchange certificate and health checklist in the mail.

Hi Ben and Emilky ~

It all depends on what do you want to do besides running ~ Eating, sightseeing or shopping? Personally, I never have enough of Tokyo and the surrounding area. I can spend days after days just to eat and walk around the whole city without getting bored. Just make sure you bring enough winter clothes to wear everyday. Enjoy the trip and have fun.

Glad to hear that everyone had a great time in Tokyo.  I just got home on Tuesday night and sad to hear and see all these horrible things happening in Japan.  My heart goes out to everyone in Japan !!  Now I have to get ready for the Los Angeles Marathon next weekend (20/3).
