I think you better buy "hong" goods in Hong Kong for your quality concern.

For accuracy, it needs to wear tight enough to block the light go to the sensor to check the hear rate. And same arm with GPS watch, the ANT+ connection power is weak.

The mio website had size chart for you to check and determine which size to buy. Indeed, it runs small.

Yes, charging mechanism is special design, contacts go rust is easy if you do not clean and dry it completely, it is quite common on such device or other GPS watch. Poor contacts happened on the charger in other case causing no charge at all. However, the charger have LED blinking during charge and light go off when charging completed. Let you know the charging status.

From power consumption, when you power on the link, it will light up different colors for remaining battery level indication or you would check through Mio go APP on your smartphone after bluetooth connection.

For sure, you would check mio link user guide before purchase locate in their website to know more.

Yes, tested by dcrainmaker already:

"On the heart rate side, you can use any Bluetooth Smart HR strap with the unit.  On the Polar front that’d be the Polar H6 or H7.  It doesn’t much matter to this specific unit which one, since the unit itself can’t use the analog frequency of the H7 for underwater connectivity.  However, if you use gym equipment and want to display your heart rate there the H7 strap is the way to go.  I have tested it with a number of other heart rate straps (such as the Wahoo TICKR, Mio Link, and the Scosche Rhythm+) without issue."
