Anyone has knowledge how to solve the problem caused by "blue screen error" my computer encountered last evening?

最近部機有冇咩更新過, 例如安裝新既硬件或軟件.

如硬件, 請嘗試移除再嘗試開機.

如軟件同埋用Win XP, 可以試試開機後, 當過左BIOS畫面, Press F8 button, 會見以下畫面,

select safe mode and press enter, remove installed program after goes into windows on safe mode. Restart again when completed.

如果都係唔得, 重複以上步驟至以上畫面, select "Last Know Good Configuration".

如果都仲係唔得, 可能some criterial error occrus on your hard drive, better to remove your hard drive to another PC and perform hard disk diagnostic. Hope that can help you.

你出Blue Screen 之前有無裝軟件及/或硬件先???

如有, 入 Safe-mode 去un-install 個 driver 及 disconnect 個硬件, 然後再  restart 部機, 看看是否能再次正常啟發 windows.....

I had not install any software before my computer encountered the problem wor.

I tried to re-start my computer in safe mode but to no avail too.

連safe moed 入唔到.......開機時有無出現個  windows logo??

如無, 我想多數是壞了下面是但一樣
1. 底版 !!!!!

3. BIOS 炒左...........

試試用 gills 講的 " Last Know Good Condition" 登入windows

唔得得話唯有
1) 用其他防毒去試有無中木馬............
2) disconnect 每一件硬件及重裝driver 去試,
3) Uninstall每一個軟件去試

再唔得唯有重裝 windows..........

我試過喇,有時係D Drivers 唔夾, 就會話唔知咩野 memory error 架喇. hgj091" />" />hj

又或者個 Drivers 用用下 short 咗, 最 common 係 display card 既 driver 同你用緊既 hardware 唔夾, 我上次都係 re-install  nvidia 個 driver, 又玩得返個 Game 喇.

應該係你 run 某D 野果時先出事, 做其他係無問題既,真係好可能係同個 display 既 driver 唔夾, 可以試下 uninstall 個 display driver, 再 reinstall, 再睇下有無問題.

Once I start my computer for a while the "blue screen" start.

May be it's caused by the MSM messenger.  I tried to remove it in safe mode tonite.

This article discusses the reasons why Microsoft Windows XP ServicePack 2 (SP2) may display a "STOP 0x000000D1DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" error message on portable computers thathave an Intel Pentium M mobile processor. This error message may appearwhen users switch the computer from utility (AC) power to battery (DC)power, or vice versa.

Symptoms
When you switch your Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2)-basedportable computer from AC (utility) power to DC (battery) power, orvice versa, you may receive a Stop error message that is similar to thefollowing:

STOP 0x000000D1 (0x0000000C, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0xF8E26A89)
gv3.sys – Address F8E26A89 base at F8E26000, Datestamp 3dd991eb

This problem may also occur at other times, depending on how your system was designed.

Cause
This problem may occur on a portable computer that is running an Intel Pentium M (Centrino) mobile processor if the Gv3.sys processor driver is force-installed on Windows XP SP2.

The Gv3.sys processor driver was released to support processor power management features on Intel Pentium M mobile processors that run Windows XP and Windows XP SP1. This driver is now obsolete and is not supported on Windows XP SP2. The Gv3.sys processor driver has been replaced by the Intelppm.sys processor driver. The Gv3.sys processor driver may have been incorrectly force-installed on Windows XP SP2 by an OEM driver utility installation program.

Solution
To resolve this problem, use the following methods to restore your processor driver to the correct driver. The correct driver, Intelppm.sys, was included with Windows XP SP2.

To determine which processor driver is installed, follow these steps:                  

• Click Start, click Run, type devmgmt.msc, and then press ENTER.
• In Device Manager, expand Processors.
• Right-click Intel Pentium M processor, and then click Properties.
• Click the Driver tab.
• Click Driver Details.

If your Windows XP SP2 system is using the Gv3.sys processor driver, you must update to the Intelppm.sys processor driver to correct this problem. To do this, follow these steps.                  

• Click Start, click Run,  type devmgmt.msc, and then press ENTER.
• In Device Manager, expand Processors.
• Right-click Intel Pentium M processor, and then click Update Driver.
  
  The Driver Update Wizard will start.
• If you are prompted Can Windows connect to Windows Update to search for software?, click No, not at this      time, and then click Next.
• Click Install the software automatically (Recommended), and then click Next.
• Click Finish.

You must restart your computer to complete the installation.

My laptop has the same problem these days.  Sometimes the blue screen pops up before entering Windows.  Sometimes I can get into Windows and run for a few minutes bofore the blue screen pops up again.  I did the recovery process with the ghost image but still couldn't fix the problem.  I suspect that may be hardware problem.  Anyway, I'll try the suggested method to reinstall the driver & see if that helps.

I also encounter the same problem as well since I installed a new nvidia card a few months ago.  It only happens once or twice a month, usually first thing in the morning.  I just ignore it.  The only thing I don't like is the blue screen showing "Beginning dump of physical memory ......1, 2, 3, 4, 5............etc".

May be I'll try to reinstall the driver to see if it works too.   Thanks.
