Sixty members of a running club protested yesterday outside Sha Tin police station over the cancellation of a 10-kilometre race in the area. Members of Longrun.hk said police officers had taken unreasonable actions recently against runners at Tolo Harbour. These included stopping runners using cycling paths and asking them to produce their ID cards. The runners said police said they had cancelled the race because of objections from the public.
