Tom, I had a medium long run on yesterday, the weather is so hot that I cannot complete my course. I only finished 15Km then give up! It was so hot and I am afraid I will have a heat shock, hope I will finish my medium long run in this week-end.
Tom, why don't you visit some websites in planning your routes. Most website provide details information about map in road, distance, elevation etc. I used Mapmyrun.com, its website as follow:http://www.mapmyrun.com/
Moreover, you can find other runners' running route over there.

Tom兄要參加10月北馬,未知Tom兄練習了多久?因為只餘下有兩個多月時間,但8月和9月香港天氣也十分熱,練長課也十分品吃力!按我過往經驗,這星期tom兄應完成或已完成一個長課 (~32Km),全馬練習應有三個32Km的練習。如Tom 兄還未跑長課,便要加油。你的第一次要有美好的回憶,便要有充份的準備,要不然只有遺撼!

Have you consult a doctor about your foot problem? I also have a problem about my knees and ankles, if they are naughty I minimized or completely avoided any speed training until the situation was improved. Of course, slow run; in really slow speed was the only way for me to keep my body and spirit on track.
I am sure you have used ice cube to cool your joins for every training afterward. I either use ointment (for inflammation) or acupuncture (by myself) to deal with my  joins if they are naughty, the effect is pity good.

Tom,
I used a medical ointment that cure inflammation, but not the type for massage. It is pity good and effective for me. Moreover, I studied acupuncture for two years (HKU Space) that why I know which 穴位 are used to cure my foot problem. Acupuncture is amazing that it relief my pain within one or two day time. Tom, if you want to try acupuncture, bewares not to consult general Chinese Medicine doctor. Of course, they learn acupuncture in college, but as a subject and not in details. Try to find doctor, who is specialized in acupuncture. They are experienced and specialized in acupuncture practice. I read from some blogs that other Ching/cts tried acupuncture but not so effective, I wonder they are not consulted a specialist.

我用的消炎膏名字是" Rosiden Gel"。如買不到這藥膏,可買在其它藥廠出品,最重要是它有"Piroxicam"成份。另外Tom兄可到香港大學中醫診所,那里有針灸專科。

Good job Tom, I didn't finish my medium long -run yesterday that I woke up late (7:00). Yesterday is so hot hot hot. You are strong in physical and mind to achieve yours target.

其實可能係我比較早出發,及後部份既路線有點樹蔭既關係, 所以先支持到,另一方面,我根本就無得選擇..
因為都返唔到轉頭,暫時我都應付唔到回頭既長距..... ..唯一比較短的路就係向前走......不過當我入到 ...

您腳患未癒,真希望Tom兄腳患能於比賽前好轉。Tom兄有沒有定下比賽方案?因應自已比賽前的狀態,訂定跑速分配。

你是腳跟骨後方的跟腱疼痛? 我也有這經驗!醫治的方法不外是減小跑步的intensity,不要快跑;冰敷和自已針炙。

我本身已經用中掌著地,但昨晚越跑越痛下,轉用腳跟著地,反而好DD,
勉強忍受腳跟痛至完成13K... 我開始估究竟我係唔係有扁平足....
不過又唔識睇係唔係.....
