Why not save the $$ and get the new 405 later. It will be in stores at the end of March. I have the 305 (same as the 205 but with HR monitor) now and plan to upgrade to a 405. I tried it on at the ...
You said you plan to upgrade from 305 to 405. Does it mean the same heart rate monitor can be used in a 405 as well? For those 305 users like me, is it OK just buying the watch itself?
You can also try download AllSportGPS, it stores over 20 records there and is much simplier than MB.
Also, after each use, it is safe to rinse the 205 under the tap wat ...
Yes this is a good advice for those 205/305 users. I regret that I have not learned this earlier. My problem with 305 is the sound barely audible just after a few months. I think it is my sweat to make it . Now I have to look up my watch every time during workout to make sure I'm on the right track
I meant the watch itself, not the heart rate monitor. The heart rate monitor isn't waterproofed 呀!!
Yes I mean the watch. You may notice there's small holes on the back. Behind the holes is the speakers. Be careful that it isn't water proof. Easily if water or sweat get in it'll make the speaker not work. There're already numerous discussion about this issue in the forum of motion based. You can check this out
It is unfortunate that I bought this from the overseas thru internet and therefore there's no local guaranty. I don't know where I should go to repair. Maybe I need to call Garmin directly for help. Or anyone has idea please help. I want my sound come back!
