2008 Badwater Ultramarathon (14/07/08)

It's here!  The most brutal ultramarathon on earth finally started in Death Valley, California ~ 135 miles (217 km), elevation gain 8,380 feet!!!  3 waves (6am, 8am and 10am ~ HK time same day 9pm, 11pm and 1am on 15th).  Course closed on the 16th (6pm, 8pm and 10pm ~ HK time 17th morning at 9am, 11am and 1pm respectively).

1st runner will reach mile 72 (120 km) at around midnight (HK time 3pm)!

Holy! 1st runner passed mile 72 in 10h30m!!  Dean is 3rd now at 13h03m!!  They are all running in the middle of the night now.
