All Garmin models:

101 (with AAA batteries)
201 (rechargeable, no batteries)
301 (with heart rate monitor)
205 (no heart rate monitor)
305 (with heart rate monitor)
405 (new, with or without heart rate monitor)

101 is the cheapest, 405 is the most expensive, it just came out a couple of months ago.

My 201 is good for 12 to 13 hours.  My 305 is good 10 hours.  So not bad at all!  Some people prefer the 101 because it operates with 2 AAA batteries, good for long hiking and camping trips in the woods, well, may be not so in HK.

305/405 battery is non-replaceable right?  That means it's kind of like an ipod... it become useless after several years *_*  Another thing to consider... sigh...

I am not sure about Garmin Running Watch but Garmin make good hiking GPS.  I got the top of the line hiking GPS and it's good.  My friends told me in extreme cold other GPS stop working (no reception, screen turn black...etc) my model still works.  HK is not going to be that cold so I don't know.

You can ask all the people you want, but you have to try a watch (to actually run it) and see if you like it.  If you find a C-hing in HK that has it, maybe you can take it to eat and have him show you the watch.

P.S. The C-hing better run faster than the other person, in case he try to run away with it, hahahahaa.

$266, not bad, it went down about $30 since it came out.  But it is a good investment if you are into marathon training.  It has all the functions that you can think of!  The 405 is wireless when transferring data into you desktop.  Pretty cool!
