Serioulsy, I was thinking about doing this one in Phoenix, Arizona in January.  But I know my wife would kill me for it.  So may be I wait until 2010 then.

Rock "N' Roll Arizona Marathon  ~  70 live bands along the course!  Check out the video highlights and those blings!!!

Desmond hing,

You need to come over to North America (USA or Canada) to experience it.  It is a total different atmosphere.  Little kids lining along the streets giving the runners hi-fives.  If you have time, watch the New York City Marthon on Sunday night (your time) and you should be able to see what it is like.

My dream is to run BM in state. I'm now preparing my 1st FM and will figure out the chance to have BQ. Hopefully I can get it before 80+

One more week left!  This is going to be my 1st marathon in 2009 and my 11th marathon!  Ha! Longest LSD was 15 miles since Honolulu 6 weeks ago!  WTH!?!

11th FM already...
I'm having my first SCM 10K in my life....
Really can't imagine if I can run 10 FM in my life when I reach your age

You can do it, just takes time to build up the mileage.  I consider myself a recreational runner instead of a competitive runner.  I am too old to do it all over again and risk injuries.  At this stage, there are other things in my life besides running.  No time goal for me, just go out and enjoy the whole 26.2 miles.  My goal is to run over 100 marathons including all the 50 states of USA (4 so far) and all seven continents (2 coming up).  This is my running philosophy and I am sticking to it.
