If you are going to buy shoes in Japan, my recommendation is not for Mizuno as they are cheaper in HK unless you are looking for Japan version. If you are looking for Asics Japan version, e.g. Tarthar, Skysenor or Sortiemagic, it will be cheaper than HK but it depends on the exchange rate too.
Currently Japanese Yen is standing at 1000 to HK$87 or HK$88, then the discounted prices in Japan is more or less the same as they will buy from AN or 10x shop. However, you may find some outdated models which are very good deals. For example, I brought a pairs of Sortiemagic (made in Japan) which costs me not more than 8000 Yen in Kobe.
To be honest, it is always enjoyable to look for some good running shoes in Japan as there are more selections there. |
