新發現! 好介紹!

小弟一向都鐘意"捐lone捐la", 今次出羅省亦不例外, 在 一日本人聚居嘅地方嘅一間大型日本超市內搵倒D正野. 重正過之前介紹果D豆付noodles. 名字叫做yam noodles. Product of Japan!  They have different kinds and brands, all over the shelfs. 小弟忍不到手一共買了兩大箱和其它牌子.  點解咁正?  因為 nutrition facts 個 label 寫著 0 calories!!!!  Yes, it is true! I will post some photos later on this weekend.  May be they can be found somewhere in Hong Kong.

Hi fung hing,

This is not healthy! Taking two pills a day and cut down on fruits??!!!  Unfortunately the answer is Yes.  Not only does Glucosamine increase your fat storage but also increase blood cholesterol level to certain individuals.  Also, why would you cut down on fruits (vitamins, electrolytes and minerals) because of Glucosamine?  this is not healthy at all.  Please be careful about doing that.

The bottom line is ~  Losing weight and marathon training do not work well together.  It is extremely difficult to lose weight during marathon training.  With the increase of muscle mass, carlories intake before LSD, other supplements (like Glucosamine, extra protein..........etc), you are lucky that you don't gain any weight at all.  I haven't met runnners that lose weight during the training periods.

If you insist to take dietary supplement for your knee joints, I would recommend you to take this one instead.  It is the #1 selling herbal in USA, no harm or side effect reported.  See if you can find it in HK.  I am not going to advertise for them here so please check your PM.  Thanks.

konjac foods contain mainly dietary fibers and most of them are insoluble
做副食就ok, 做主食好傷胃的,  hard to be digested

The brand is Shirakiku and is imported from Japan (white noodle).  It does taste a liitle like 芋絲 but not exactly.  Have to drink lots of water when taking insoluble dietary fibers.

Sonia tse ~  No, I am not a vegetarian?  I need to have my huge juicy T-bone steak and filet mignon once awhile !!!  I usually put the shirataki noodles in miso soup (see post #55).  I don't eat it everyday, only when I feel like eating it.  I like your recipe, I am going to try it.  Yes I have seen the ones in jelly form.  I didn't like the texture that much.

Fung hing ~ Now you and ram hing know where to get them.  I told you before you should be able to find them in HK because they are all Product of Japan.  And yes, you can use it 當飯食.  The Japanese here love eating them.  When I went into the Japanese supermarket in LA, the whole shelf was full of different brands.  BTW, I am really going deer hunting with my friend in November.  到時真係有鹿頸食呀!

I like hunting and fishing too.  I actually good at 即場"湯"鹿, 放血and起皮! 其實好鬼gross! 所以小弟大人永不幫手的.

You lose roughly 100 calories of every mile you run.  I lost over 2,800 calories and 6 lbs last Saturday.

Smart! glad to hear that.  You can take it once every blue moon or just flush the pills down the toilet.  Remember the one that I recommended to you (in your PM), try to see if you can find it in HK.
