The 96th Tour de France will start off in Monaco (Grand Start)

Date:  July 4th to July 26th,

Distance:  3,500 km (approx: 2,100 miles)

Two Japanese cyclists in the race this year and a comeback from Lance Armstrong.

Who is planning to follow it?

Oh definitely, he was just testing the "market" this year to see his chance in the future.  He didn't even train hard for it this time.  Remember all those marathons he ran.  No more marathons for him now.  He will concentrate to train harder for next year's TdF.

Really ??  Mine too, it crashes all the time especially in FB and twitterfon.

Hope this strong guy will be champion next year!

I also hope his Astana teammate Levi Leipheimer (broken wrist) and Team Columbia HTC's George Hincapie (broken collar bone) will join him too.

Did u follow him on twitter?  He tweets all the time.  He is vacationing in the Bahamas now.

Contador is the winner and Armstrong is rank 3.

Well. the Battle of Mount Ventoux is over.  Almost certain that Contador, Schleck and Armstrong all three will be on the podium tomorrow in Paris.

Armstrong's role now is to support his Astana's teammate (Alberto Contador).  He said on Sunday after stage 15th that he "......wasn't on par with what is required to win the Tour.  I gave it everything that I had, and I wasn't the best...."  Saxo Bank's Andy Schleck is going to launch a lot of attacks tomorrow during the climbs.  Watch Armstrong to see how he defends Contador.  It should be an exciting stage to watch.
